Sometimes (well often) I long for the winters here in Denmark to be colder. Not that I enjoy when the winds is piercing cold. But the need for hand knits would be greater with colder weather. I guess it's the (Norwegian) knitter in me.
Even though my kinds might not wear as much hand knitted items as their Norwegian counterparts they do wear a lot of wool. So much that my friends calls them wool kids. Here is some favourites (I'll show the baby knits in a separate post)
Little mister M, here just 8 months old. Wearing 'Eivor' cardigan in lovely Estonian wool, Evilla.
Mister T, the baby here just 1 month old, wearing 'Fuglemammas omslagsbody' a knitted bodystocking. Pattern is not available in English but this one piece from Knitting for Olive is a nice substitute.
My oldest in his current favourite, Bygenseren. Knitted in Knit Me Merino
